Tasha is QHTL’s Real Estate Closing Paralegal. She is responsible for assisting with post-closing, file disbursements and document recordation. Tasha grew up in Oconee/Madison county and has over 11 years of experience as deputy Clerk for the Athens-Clarke County Superior Court Real Estate Division prior to joining our team. Tasha has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 21 years and enjoys going to movies, reading a good book and of course watching UGA football! GO DAWGS!

Jennifer is Head of Firm Operations at QHTL Law and senior paralegal to Alec Hodson. She regularly assists in the preparation and execution of residential and commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions, construction loan closings, corporate acquisitions, and title curative matters. Prior to joining the firm her professional experience was in commercial construction accounting and residential development in and around Athens-Clarke and Oconee County. Outside of the office, Jennifer has held board and leadership positions in various local service organizations and enjoys being involved in our community. She has a passion for interior design, loves her garden and spending time with her family.

Liz is a Real Estate Closing Paralegal at QHTL Law. She is responsible for assisting with pre-closing preparation and support. Liz is attended the University of Georgia and has been with the firm for over 20 years. She has many years of experience working in legal offices and is appreciated for her attention to detail. Liz is an avid reader, enjoys travel and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ashley serves as a senior firm paralegal and works for the firm abstracting titles for real estate closing transactions. Ashley grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. Her dad was a mechanical engineer and early NASCAR driver and her mom was a homemaker originally from the Lake District of England. Ashley attended Robert E. Lee high school in Jacksonville (with the original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd) before attending Wofford College in Spartanburg South Carolina where she earned a dual degree in Political Science and Philosophy. She later attended the University of South Carolina – Columbia where she earned her master’s degree in Philosophy, followed by the University of Georgia-Athens, where she earned her PhD also in Philosophy. Ashley went on to join the faculty of the University of Georgia in 1995 where she taught Philosophy classes at the undergraduate and graduate level for nearly 15 years including a personal and student favorite class entitled, “what is the meaning of life?”.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and co-worker Alec, her daughter Sloan and her step-sons Simon and Charlie in the North Georgia Mountains and along the barrier islands of Georgia, travelling, fishing, spending time with her friends, reading and completing cross word puzzles and other number and word games. She is never far away from her beloved Pomeranian, Little Bear.

Kayla is the receptionist/administrative assistant at Quarterman, Hodson, Triplett & Leach, P.C. Kayla was born in Ringgold, Georgia and moved to Athens, Georgia in 2018. Kayla is a graduate of the University of Georgia and currently resides in Athens with her husband Brantley and their Cavapoo Remi. Kayla loves to spend her free time watching the Braves or Dawgs play, enjoys traveling, and cooking.
